Professor Shmuel Cytron

Professor Shmuel Cytron is a leading expert in the fields of urological cryoablation. He is the head of the Urology Department at the Barzilai University Medical Center, Ashqelon. Prof. Cytron is also a Professor in Urology at the Faculty of Medicine at the Ben-Gurion University and specialist in diagnostic ultrasound.

Prof. Cytron has more than forty years of experience in the field of urology and has some sixty referred articles in scientific journals. He has worked in past in medical centers all over the world including UCLA (US), Sheba Medical Center, Beilinson Medical Center (Israel), Harlev Hospital (Denmark) and Lucca (Italy)

Prof. Cytron is a member, among others, of The Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE), Society International Urologic (SIU), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), The Urological Association of Asia (UAA), American Urological Association (AUA), European Association of Urology (EAU) and the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology.

Dr. Aharon Manes

Dr. Aharon Manes is a veteran Urology Specialist who serves as a senior surgeon at the Urology Department at the Assuta Medical Centers and Herzliya Medical Center.

Dr manes served as the Professional Advisor Chief of Urology at the Rabin Medical

Center for 38 years. He is a well-known authority on prostate cancer, male fertility and is a specialist in traditional and laser surgery.

Dr. manes participated in several special training courses including in Prostate laser surgery (Paris) and prostate cancer (Cambridge). He is also a member of the European Association of Urology and The American Urological Association.

Dr. Manes graduated from the School of Medicine of the Tel Aviv University.

DR. DOR GOLOMB

Dr. Dor Golomb is a veteran Urology Specialist who serves as Urologic Surgeon at the Urology Department of the Samson Assuta Ashdod University Hospital.

Dr. Golomb graduated from medical school in 2010. He then performed his internship at Tel-Aviv Medical Center (Ichilov Hospital), and was then certified as a physician in 2012.

Dr. Golomb completed his residency in Urology at Rabin Medical Center (Beilinson-Hasharon) between the years 2012-2017. In 2018, after successfully completing the board exams in urology, he graduated a one-year subspecialty program in urolithiasis at Rabin Medical Center.

This was followed by a two-year fellowship in minimally invasive urology at Western University, in London, Ontario, Canada. Western University medical center is considered one of the world’s leading facilities in the field of endourology. Upon his return to Israel, Dr. Golomb joined the Urology Department at Assuta Ashdod Hospital as a staff attending physician.

Up to the present time, Dr. Golomb has conducted numerous clinical studies in Israel and abroad, some of which have already been published in the medical literature. He is currently conducting further research in the field of minimally invasive urology and the treatment of urolithiasis.
